Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect during my N.I.S Treatment?

At each visit the goal is to determine and address what aspects of your body function the brain and nervous system is experiencing interference. This is achieved by gently challenging a muscle whilst touching different anatomical points. Muscles in the body should at all times be able to resist a given force.

When neurological confusion occurs, the motor-sensory loop will produce muscle discrepancies’, enabling identification of areas of miscommunication. These are reintegrated by gentle “tapping” on the head over the post-central gyrus (top of the head) following systematic touch of specific anatomical contact points.
